Apricot Almond Energy Balls

These apricot almond energy balls are made with four main ingredients and you can prepare them within minutes! Ideal as a healthy snack, high in protein, kid-friendly, and a great way to boost your energy before a workout!

  • 200 grams (15 pieces, equally medium-sized) dried apricots
  • 150 grams (1 US cup and a half) desiccated coconut unsweetened
  • 200 grams (1 US cup and a half) almonds raw
  • 4 tbsp raw honey
  • 1 tbsp orange blossom water optional


  • Wash and soak dried apricots in hot water for at least 10 minutes.
  • After the apricots have softened, drain from excess water and transfer to a high-speed food processor.
  • Add desiccated coconut, almonds, honey, and orange blossom water. Process well until firm and well combined with no big chunks left.
  • Take a generous amount of the mixture and form it into medium-sized balls.
  • Roll the balls in shredded coconut and set aside.
  • Serve immediately or store in the fridge for later.


You can cover these energy balls with ground almonds, cinnamon, cocoa powder, or melted unsweetened dark chocolate.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to ten days. Store in the freezer for up to three months.
